Sounds of the Scottish Highlands - Piper Jonathan Henken
Celebrated piper Jonathan Henken returns to Downtown Music with a program of ancient airs and dances of Scotland. This outdoor concert will take place on the church lawn. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in Grace Church.

Tom Chapin
With 26 recordings and hundreds of songs in his repertoire, Tom Chapin serves up a tasty mix of story songs, ballads, comedic and political songs, family music, sing-alongs, old-time folk classics and a favorite song or two of his late brother Harry’s. Tom accompanies himself on guitar, banjo and autoharp and is joined by longtime collaborator, Michael Mark, who plays concertina and bass.

Mezzo soprano Clara Osowski, baritone Tyler Duncan, and pianist Erika Switzer present songs of Kurt Weill and Friedrich Hollaender, in this two-part series featuring so-called “degenerate music.”

Downtown Music is thrilled to welcome Ruth Ungar and Mike Merenda of The Mammals, who hail from New York’s Hudson Valley. Over two decades, the Mammals have built a legacy of genre-defying and emotionally resonant folk-rock praised as “some of the best songwriting of their generation” (LA Times).
