Happy Holidays from Downtown Music!

December 2024

Dear Friends:

It has been a pleasure to hear from so many of you who have been able to attend Downtown Music concerts. Whether joining us for the first time this fall or for many seasons before, your comments radiate a spirit of pure joy, and leave me with a sense of deep pride in what we have been able to accomplish. Together, we have made a substantial investment in the cultural life of our community. We have created something truly unique and successful!

Our 37th Anniversary Season continues with an exciting roster of artists, and it goes without saying that it is your loyalty, support, and enthusiasm that make everything possible.

Upcoming events include the exciting debut of an orchestra of young musicians presented in memory of our longtime friend and supporter, Dorothy Jackson. And, with help from the Westchester Community Foundation, we will present Bach’s Best and Brightest; a 2-concert series featuring music created and performed by J.S. Bach and his talented students. Your participation is our inspiration!

Won’t you help us continue our legacy with a gift of $200, $500, $1000, or more?

Or, make an even bigger impact with a recurring donation of $20, $50, or $100 every month?

DONATE NOW

We know that you understand how and why musical excellence and access to the arts are fundamental to a vibrant community. That’s why we offer our concerts free-of-charge. Because the donations received during our concerts provide only 10% of our annual budget – direct philanthropy, such as my periodic appeals to you, must do the rest. The importance of your gift today cannot be overstated.

On behalf of all of us at Downtown Music, I thank you for your generosity and support, a ringing affirmation of what we’ve built together over 37 years, and wish you and yours a joyous and music-filled Holiday Season. Your year-end contribution today will assure that our hope for the future remains strong.

With sincere thanks and best regards,

Timothy Lewis
