Irena Portenko and Svetlana Gorokhovich

Inspiring and spectacular piano duo Svetlana Gorokhovich and Irena Portenko earned highest credits among musical reviewers and audiences. During the last 17 years they performed throughout the world including the United States, Germany, Austria and Uzbekistan. Their repertoire includes a broad variety of styles and composers from Bach to the music of 21stcentury. The highlights of their performing career include: performance of Mozart Concerto for two pianos with the orchestra, K365 E flat major under the baton of Mr. Kenneth Keisler (Grammy Award Nominee) in 2018 in Saal Tirol, Innsbruck, Austria. In June 2019, Svetlana and Irena performed this concerto in Tashkent, Uzbekistan under the baton of distinguished conductor Eldar Azimov.  After a two year break, the duo returned to perform at Bad Gastein, Austria, this summer at Music in the Alps, an international music festival.  

Their program for Downtown Music at Grace will be Mozart’s Sonata in B flat major, K. 358, Smetana’s The Moldau and J. Brahms’ Five Hungarian Dances.
