Licorice & Fiddles: The Great Clarinet Quintets of Mozart and Brahms

The clarinet quintet format comprises a string quartet with clarinet soloist. Few composers have attempted to write for such an ensemble. Mozart and Brahms were undeterred, and the result is two of the greatest works in the clarinet repertoire.

Robert Chausow and Robin Bushman, violins

Liuh-Wen Ting, viola

Hannah Holman, cello

Ben Baron, clarinet

Please note that this concert will finish at 1:25 pm instead of the usual 1 pm. There will be a short break between the Mozart and Brahms quintets to allow audience members who must leave to depart without interrupting the performers.

The musicians of the Westchester Philharmonic return for one of their exciting chamber music concerts. Learn more about the Westchester Philharmonic's season at Westchesterphil.org
